VICE PRESIDENT

Sunny Buchert has spent the last 20 years working in the public government sector and currently serves several positions from board member to president of local non-profit organizations.

After personally experiencing some racial biases in 2000, she began advocating on behalf of some of the most disadvantaged communities in California.

Per her own words, she accepted a Vice President of DEM Foundation position because DEM shares similar values with her personal passions such as bringing innovation to diversity, equity, inclusion, education, and providing her leadership to all disadvantaged communities, as well as providing the best possible social and entertainment services for our members.
